What Are the Warrior Talent Trees in WoW Forever?
Read the trees from the top down, but budget around their prerequisite links. Gore Drinker needs Blood Craze 3, Impale needs Deep Wounds 3, and Shield Slam needs Concussion Blow 1. The generated leveling route starts in Fury because the route scoring values Rage flow, off-hand attacks and sustain; that is a starting point, not a claim that Arms or Protection cannot level.
Each card below shows that tree’s actual talent count, deepest row, row-gate value, and the direct prerequisites attached to its key talents. The calculator enforces the same snapshot data.
Arms
Arms asks you to commit early to Rend and then collect the talents that convert that bleed setup into pressure. Impale cannot be taken until Deep Wounds is at rank 3, and Mortal Strike needs Sweeping Strikes. Pick this tree when you want a two-handed route rather than the Fury starting build. Direct prerequisite gates- Improved Rend — No direct talent prerequisite; only the row gate applies. Row 1; maximum rank 3.
- Deep Wounds — Requires Improved Rend rank 3. Row 3; maximum rank 3.
- Impale — Requires Deep Wounds rank 3. Row 4; maximum rank 2.
Fury
Fury is the class page’s leveling starting route. Cruelty and Unbridled Wrath are available in the first row, Furious Precision and Dual Wield Specialization support an off-hand plan, and Death Wish opens the path to Bloodthirst. Direct prerequisite gates- Blood Craze — No direct talent prerequisite; only the row gate applies. Row 3; maximum rank 3.
- Gore Drinker — Requires Blood Craze rank 3. Row 5; maximum rank 2.
- Bloodthirst — Requires Death Wish rank 1. Row 7; maximum rank 1.
Protection
Protection is the shield route: block and dodge can generate Rage, while Last Stand and Shield Wall add defensive tools. Plan Shield Specialization 5 before Master of Defense, and Concussion Blow 1 before Shield Slam. Direct prerequisite gates- Shield Specialization — No direct talent prerequisite; only the row gate applies. Row 1; maximum rank 5.
- Concussion Blow — No direct talent prerequisite; only the row gate applies. Row 5; maximum rank 1.
- Shield Slam — Requires Concussion Blow rank 1. Row 7; maximum rank 1.
What Changed for Warrior Talents vs Classic?
- Fury has 12 changed talents in this snapshot. Lingering Rage delays Rage decay, Furious Precision adds off-hand hit, and Gore Drinker restores health after specific Fury cooldowns.
- Bloodthirst needs Death Wish 1. Gore Drinker needs Blood Craze 3. In Protection, Shield Slam needs Concussion Blow 1 and Focused Rage sits in row 5.
- Improved Cleave, Boundless Rage, Precision, Toughness and Vitality are absent. The four Classic Arms weapon specializations are replaced by the single, weapon-dependent Weaponmaster talent.

Fury includes Lingering Rage in row 2, Furious Precision in row 3 (off-hand hit 4%, 7%, and 10%), and Gore Drinker in row 5, which requires Blood Craze.

Where to Start a Warrior Leveling Route
The generated starting route uses Fury. A Fury route built around Rage generation, off-hand attacks and sustain.
This is a rules-checked starting allocation, not a claim that one
warrior tree is the only viable option. The build page
shows every point from level 10 to 60, the official

points at which you should reconsider the route.

Warrior Talent Calculator FAQ
Should I level as Fury or Arms?
The generated route starts in Fury because it prioritizes Rage generation, off-hand attacks and sustain. That is a starting choice, not a claim that Arms is worse. If you want a two-handed plan, use Arms and budget Rend → Deep Wounds 3 → Impale, then take Sweeping Strikes before Mortal Strike.
What can’t I plan for a Warrior in this snapshot?
The dataset does not contain Improved Cleave, Boundless Rage, Precision, Toughness or Vitality, and the Classic Arms weapon specializations are gone. Piercing Howl is present, but its rank text is the snapshot’s one confirmed unknown field, so the calculator does not invent an effect for it.
How many Arms points does a Warrior need before Mortal Strike?
Mortal Strike sits in the final Arms row and requires Sweeping Strikes 1; reaching that row takes 30 earlier points spent in Arms. Impale also requires Deep Wounds 3. Points spent in Fury or Protection do not count toward Arms row gates, so a hybrid plan can delay the Arms capstone even when its total budget looks high enough.
Can I share a build with the WoW Forever Warrior Talent Calculator?
Yes. The Share button in the calculator copies a link to your exact Warrior allocation, including level, class and every point spent. Opening the link restores the build without an account, and the link records the snapshot so its points are checked against the data they were built on.
